
Xinyue Yang, born in China in 1997, is a prize-winning pianist with top awards from competitions such as the Delta Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Competition, Weatherford College International Piano Competition, and the Spanish Siguenza International Piano Competition. She has performed across China, Europe, and the U.S., including venues like the China Conservatory Concert Hall, Liszt Museum in Budapest, and Kilbourn Hall in Rochester.
Xinyue earned her bachelor’s degree at the Central Conservatory in Beijing, her master’s at the Eastman School of Music under Professor Natalya Antonova, and is currently pursuing her DMA under Professor Alan Chow. She holds assistantships in accompanying and secondary piano teaching, and was the first recipient of Eastman’s Rebecca McCord Scholarship.
