Momoko Kimura

From the age of three, she was taught piano by her mother. At the age of five, she began receiving lessons from the following renowned teachers: Ms. Atsuko Fujiwara, Ms. Reiko Okabe, Ms. Eri Yonemoto, Prof. Emiko Harimoto, Prof. Hisako Kawamura, Evgeni Sinaisky, and Prof. Henri Sigfridsson. Starting in 2014, she attended Toride-Shoyo High School, where she was taught by Ms. Noriko Uenaka.


Since 2018, she has been studying at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Germany, under the guidance of Prof. Henri Sigfridsson and Evgeni Sinaisky.

Momoko is a prize-winner of numerous international competitions including first prize at the Kohler Osbahr Competition in Germany (2021), first prize at the Steinway Competition in Dusseldorf (2022), Video Production Award at the Chopin Competition in Cologne (2022), first prize at the Aloha International Piano Competition in Hawaii (2023), Special Pozzoli Prize at the Pozzoli International Piano Competition in Italy, and Special Pianist Award at the Folkwang Competition in Germany (2024).
